This work is located between Taipei Shwang Yuan Dike and Panchiao hung Yuan Dike.
|
|
Two 520m long north and south bound double track tunnels have been constructed
underneath the existing TRA right-of-way (South Tunnel serves HSR while North Tunnel
serves TRA).

|
Both North and South Tunnels have been constructed at the same time. After the
|
|
underground tunnels was completed, the construction of Shwang Yuan dike and Chung
Yuan dike proceeded by integrating the dike structures with the tunnel structure.
Construction duration was 43 months.
